Eligibility:

Applicants must demonstrate that they perform "highly qualified work activity" – defined as meeting the requirements of Article 27.quater, paragraph 1, of the TUI (similar to the Italian Blue Card).

• You must be a highly qualified worker according to the Consulate guidelines.

• This includes holding a 3-year university degree or having several years of work experience in your field of study.

• This work must be carried out remotely using technology.

• They must also meet specific income requirements, generally around €28,000 per year, though this may vary by consulate.

• Applicants must possess valid health insurance and provide proof of suitable accommodation in Italy for the duration of their stay.

• For remote workers category, have a work contract or collaboration agreement or a binding offer with an annual salary not less than the average annual gross salary reported by ISTAT (approximately 34,000 euros); also, the employer or client must certify the absence of convictions for illegal immigration crimes in the last five years.
